Prior to the world of finances, he owned and operated a bee keeping company in Essa township. He started that company while attending Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained a double degree in Economics, Sociology and a specialization in applied research. Foster loves working with business owners, soon to be retirees and the young family markets.

Foster enjoys the outdoors, beekeeping (even when getting stung), sports (hockey in particular), a good book (usually historical fiction), running (typically under 10km) and walks around Barrie’s waterfront (not as frequent in the winter).
